Back in 2018, Meredith and Trevor (aka Mere and Trev) met through mutual friends from their alma maters - The University of Arkansas and The University of Texas. This was less than a year after they both graduated from school and were living back in their hometown of Dallas, TX.

On their first official date at Katy Trail Ice House, the two could not stop talking about their mutual connections of friends, shared Dallas upbringings, love of sports, and more. Their connection was undeniable, and they continued to go on dates, from concerts to cozy nights cooking in their apartments. After three months of getting to know each other, they made their relationship official - and the rest is history :)

Trevor proposed on a quintessentially warm Texas evening in early December of 2023 during "Holiday at the Arboretum", where the gardens are beautifully lit with Christmas lights—one of Meredith's favorite things. Having just landed back in Dallas from an out-of-town work trip, Meredith was not expecting this night to be forever memorable. Trevor popped the question in front of a fountain, with his parents secretly capturing the moment. Meredith was then even more surprised to find her family and some of their friends waiting to celebrate at a nearby restaurant.

Fast forward to today, the couple is celebrating six incredible years together this August. Mere and Trev are ecstatic to begin this next chapter of their lives as a married couple. They feel so thankful and blessed to have the love and support of their friends and family. Now we get to count down the days until they say "I do"!
